Just new, having egg problems..

I took a quick look at Henderson's chook chart for winter layers in your flock, MeBo. What I'm seeing is your Red Sussex and Rhode Island Red pullets will do the majority of your winter laying; the rest will lay sporadically.

welcome medbomb. some say the chicks that are not laying regularly may lay longer into the cool weather. i thing you should threaten to ground the slackers. take no prisoners. eat more possium.
