Just not possible? 8 week olds laying?

Found a very small egg when I went to collect today. It was right there along 8 normal size eggs. I have 5 laying hens 4 yrs old, still going. I have 15 new girls...they are only 8 weeks old, and this egg looks just like when my first girls started laying, tiny. It couldn't possibly be from one of them????

I would say it's more likely just a small egg from one of the older hens.

Its all the soy they are putting in there food! I went to gamebird food it also have fish meal...

I also think its a small egg from an older hen.

I got several this year as well but they were all from pullets that were just beginning to lay.

Did you crack to see if it has a yolk. A fart egg is a small egg w/o a yolk, hence why it is so small.
A glitch in the system I guess

edited to add that I have gotten very small eggs before with a yolk, sometimes they just lay tiny ones.​
