Ive had them a week this past Thursday. Not sure exactly how old they were when I got them at the feed store. The other chicks have grown so much, but the polish dont look like they have at all. They are getting all their feathers though.
We left this past Monday and got back Wed from the hosp with my 9 yo daughter, and when I checked the chicks, I noticed the feathers coming in on the polish. It actually looks like they have alot of gel on their heads....lol. When I got them, they had 'fros' compared to the other chicks. But with the feathers coming in now, the fros are getting longer. 1 of the chicks with a little fro makes me think of a fade.
If I knew how to post pics, I would.
Meant to say also, I believe my breed book said that polish do well in confinement, but not so well free range.
