Just ordered chicks

I ordered from Sandhills Preservation: this year, I am trying to increase my egg laying. I currently have mutts. I am ordering an assortment of leghorns. Brown, Black, Exchequer, Mille Fleur and white. They are coming on April 4, and I am praying for a broody hen.

I am so exited do any of you know someone who has a chocolate orphington? I cant wait I have never seen one in person

Don't expect Orpingtons from a hatchery to be what you see from breeders. I've had chocolate but just one and I placed the bird when I got out of chickens. If you want the big ones buy direct from a breeder

They are already trouble makers but my big chickens seem to love them so hopefully they all get along when they share a coop!
