I picked up my order of Cornish Rock Cross chicks today!!! Born yesterday. I put them in the brooder (already set up) and gave them electrolytes. Then moistened mash starter feed. They are gobbling everything down and then taking a nap. There are 6 boys and 5 girls! (I ordered a straight run).

I do have a question though. They all have foamy watery poops. Clear to green color. These are my first mailed chicks and the ones I hatched didn’t have this poop issue. Should I be worried?

Congrats!
Can you get a few pictures of this poop?
The first picture is of the chicks. The second is the one I took when you asked for a picture and the third is a fresh sample with the bubbles still present.

First poops are usually green..greenish.

I wouldn't worry yet.
The watery poops are probably just because they drank a lot.

What feed are you feeding them?

You gonna eat those cute little things? May god have mercy on your soul!!
God made them for my family to eat. I choose to raise the meat for my family so I know what the chickens eat and how they are raised, instead of trusting that the store bought birds have had a healthy upbringing and quality feed. Not every chicken is a pet.
