Edwina has had a sour crop, but she seems to be on the mend!

Edwina has an appointment at the vets in 2 and a half hours, but I'm not sure if she is going to make it to the appointment

I hope Edwina hangs in there and the vet can help. (Hugs) I just had to have a chick put down yesterday very sad.

R.I.P Edwina! I hate to say it, but she has just passed away. 1 hour before her vet appointment. I kind of knew when I picked her up and she started being sick all over me that it was game over. I hate how the past 3 hens that have died have all died with me, it makes it so much sadder. She also died looking into my eyes which made the whole situation a lot worse. I hope she is happy and joins her friends who are all up there. I just feel bad that I didn't take her to the vets sooner, I always think I can fix it but I guess I have learnt my lesson and I wont forgive myself for not taking her sooner. She was sick and pood on me before she died, maybes that her way of leaving something behind. She was the best hen I have ever had and the fact that I only got her in June proves it. R.I.P Ediwna.

Oh Johnn, don't be so down on yourself. From your pics of edwina and the gang, they looked much healthier than when you rescued them. Your fields are glorious and edwina looked very happy in your care. At least her last days were with someone of kind heart

It was a sour crop. But it was really bad, it got to the point where she couldnt even get the water through it. I miss her so much!
