Well everyone in the big shed was locked up last night because they were laying away, but Edwina and Ruby aren't because they haven't come back into lay properley yet. So I let them sleep in the small shed with the broodies and they had all monring out in the field, just them two and they have eventually bonded! They hated each other when they first came but now look at them! Ruby was also laying an egg when I left, so hopefully she is coming back into lay.

Have had them for a month yesterday! They are doing so well. I am really pleased with them! Ruby has come back into lay and is giving me a nice big egg every day and Edwina is getting her feathers back! here is a pic of them sleeping in the shade today!:

Edwina couldn't seem to wait for her food and flew into the container to get it herself!

They are looking great! Love the pics! Mine are doing ok but had a poorly girl today and then she laid a shell less egg:-( they have loads of calcium available but might put a supplement in their water and just hope it was a defective egg gland. She seems much better after getting it out. They are laying daily which is great for us but taking ages for any feathers to come back. had mine for about 6 weeks now and Princess is still bald on her neck and behind. Giving them extra protein to help but doesn't seem to be doing much yet, just a few little spikes....
