(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've had chickens on and off for about 7 years, then gave up for a while as we couldn't compete with the foxes and hawks. We had entire flocks taken. We now have built great pens , so now only minimal issues when they are free-ranging.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
Vorwerks, Buff Orpingtons, Light Sussex, BLR, GL , SL Wyandottes, Australorps, Hylines and 1 x Leghorn, RIR and 1 x random chicken which confuses me, lol

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I am a hairdresser by trade with TOO Many hobbies to list but include, computerised engraving, woodwork, graphic design and trophy making and supplying
Our first group of Incubated chicks are now 4 months old, we managed to hatch 9 out of 10 , though had to cull one at a couple of weeks old, he just wasn't strong enough. My partner had to do it, and I feel anxious about the fact that I will one day have to do this myself. It was devastating to me.
I would love to one day incubate and breed chicks and sell fertilised eggs on a regular basis
