Just Saying Hi!!

New member LONG time reader, find it absolutely interesting to see so many types of fowl, flock and feathered friends. Finally decided to join because life has finally made it possible to have my own flock and not help others raise theirs. Time am I right!! I currently have 26 birds total some layers, some for eating, 5 ducks (1 khaki Campbell and 4 pekin they were discounted), 8 cornish x meat birds and a whole mess of not 100% sure so I decided to finally join. I honestly got a mix of chicks and have just been raising them. Love the forums though they always have new information and it's nice to see how different everyone raises their flocks.

I think many of us have been BYC lurkers before we joined. It appears you have quite the mix of birds. You are correct that many people do do things differently. I have a lot of birds with multiple coops where others have backyard flocks. Good luck with your birds and have fun...

Thank you cmom! I am having fun, it's work. I take their care serious checking multiple times a day their water is good to go and go in to socialize them. One kind or mixed it's all beautiful to me, just like how unique birds are.
