Hello. New member here from Texas. Just started my flock. I have 3 pearl guineas and a RIR pullet about 8 weeks old, 6 barred rock pullets and 6 gold laced wyandottes about 5 weeks old, and a group of 1 week olds at my SIL's house(3 standard cochin, 2 polish and 1 lavender guinea). This is my first personal flock, but my grandparents always had chickens and farm birds. We plan on suppliing eggs for about 6 families and raising some for the freezer. Above all, I have fallen in love with wyandottes. I found the goldens here in the Houston area and the breeding stock is very nice. Still hunting for affordable yet pretty SLW and possibly some partridge. That's it for now. Thanks.
