Hi all I finally signed up I have been reading posts for a while about chickens/rabbits/goats ect. and finally decided to join.
I am a mom and wife, I have one amazing son who is 16 months old and a very understanding husband who puts up with all of my crazy ideas and plans. We have 1 8 week old Jack Russell puppy, and will be adding a German Shepherd puppy with in a year, 3 horses, 1 heifer, 2 beef steers, 9 goats, 2 rabbits, 30 chickens, 7 ducks. We are in the process of moving onto 3.2 acres, and trying to become very self reliant at least when it comes for our food. I already assist my dad in raising our 100% home grown beef, In the spring we will be getting pigs to fatten for meat. Also butchering 1-2 goats, and drinking the milk, butchering rabbits and of course the eggs from the chickens
