i just set 12 pheasant eggs. Are they the same as chicken's? Humidity? How many days in the Bator? I have a styrofoam bator and does anyone know of an easier way to add water? On our last batch of bantams we lifted the lid every 3 days or so to add. We only ended up with one out of 8 hatching.....? Any help would be much appreciated.

Last year I set 7 Ringneck Pheasants with my chicken eggs. All Seven piped, but only 2 hatched. I treated them like chicken eggs.

thanks for the advice! thats what i thought. how is good ol' Baton Rouge? I was born there. Grew up in Opelousas.

LOL I was born in Opelousas, and grew up in Baton Rouge. I spent my summers in Plaisance at my grandmothe's place that is where I got my Luv for chickens.

Yes the same method as chickens, but golden pheasant eggs take 24-25 days to hatch. You could always run a tube down to the water trough and shoot water through the tube with a syrindge.
