I am wanting to set some ducks. I have read Storey's book for Raising ducks and now I am just waiting to get my bator's cleaned out. I keep putting chickens in them.

I am thinking about Khaki Campbells or Appleyards. Any suggests.

I have Runner Duck eggs,From a fellow BYC'er and 14 of my own, A mix of pekin,Some Runner Ducks and a mix of a little bit of everything...

I was looking for something that lays eggs, is a good forager and I told my 3 yr old she could have some. I was thinking about Appleyard because they are rare and I believe in keeping rare breeds alive. I am not sure yet.
