Just want to give an update on Pete, Ethal and Peeper It's so blasted hot wanted them to have their choice of places to go to be cool (as possible) the heat here is unbelivable. I'm surprised to find that Pete isn't hanging out with Ethal and Peeper. He's being a bit obnoxious pestering the banty hens in cages with chicks. Maybe he's jealous because all Ethals attention is directed to Peeper.Yesterday morning they both were giving their alarm call I went outside to see what was going on and a hawk flew out of the old snag out by the chicken yard could see everything seemed to be ok but no Peeper. I thought dang it he didn't make it two days guess who came striding out of the tall grass in the fence row. His mama had told him to go hid and be quiet.
