Just signed up for Operation Homecooking!

Yay! DH and I just signed up to bring two Air Force trainees home for Thanksgiving. I've been wanting to do this for several years, but I never remembered until it was too late. I'm looking forward to stuffing them with homecooked goodness.

I just did a search for our closest base and they had a page with the info. I'm sure you can call your local base too and see if they have something similar going on.

That is really cool... really, what a GREAT program!

Shame that I don't have a working oven, just a toaster oven, so I can't cook a turkey here.

Maybe someday we'll be able to do this though... thanks so much for sharing!!

Edit... snooping... how does one find a base? I know that we had one called Carswell in Ft Worth, but now that is a NAS instead... sheesh I hate being ignorant.
