JUST STAERTED TETRACYCLINE

TWO DAYS AGO I WENT OUT TO THE COOPTO COLLECT EGGS AND HEARD WHAT SOUNDED A DOG BARKING. I GAVE IT A COUPLE DAYS AND THIS A.M TOOK A VIDEO OF IT AND BROUGHT IT TO MY FEED STORE THE WOMAN THERE SAID IT COULD BE WORMS OR RESPITORY DISEASE. SO I WORMED AND STARTED TETRACYCLINE. MY QUESTION IS HOW LONG UNTIL I SEE IMPROVEMENT? ALSO I HAVE WITNESSED MORE OF THEM DOING IT...

Does it sound like "erh erh erh erh!"? Because my hens do that when they're in the process of laying an egg or getting territorial with one another- sometimes, I think they just like to be vocal. Lift up your hen and put your ear to the chest, just beneath the wing- if you only hear a heartbeat, chances are there's no respiratory issue here. Can you post the video clip here, by any chance? It might give us a better idea of what we're looking at.

Are you seeing any symptoms such as watery eyes, nasal drainage, swelling around the eyes or face, or rattly breathing. Chickens can get a variety of viruses or bacterial respiratory infections. Im tryng to upload now its giving me a hard time. they sound like a duck or like a bark they eat fine no watery eyes or mucus they still lay
