are you planning to breed him to them and hatch the eggs? Unless he is the sweetest thing I dont see why you would have a roo at all. Now that said I have 9 so that I can just incubate eggs at any time, but the second a Roo gets aggresive towards people he gets one pass and if he does it again I get stew.

But as a temp measure the pen split idea is good just make sure he cant fly in to their side. Clip his wings if you have to.
