Hi my eldest son is wanting to show chickens. I was wondering do they have to have any special paper work or anything?.

It depends on what your state requires. In Ohio any birds I want to show have to be checked for pullorum once a year and test negative. In Pennsylvania I know they also have to test negative for avian influenza too. Just a side note when showing chickens GET THEM FROM A BREEDER! Hatchery birds just can not compete.
