I got my chickens just tonight and I am so excited!!!! I have been wanting some for a little over a year now and finally convinced myself that I can handle it. I got 3 Rhode Island Reds and 3 Black Sex Links. I am hoping this will be an awesome experience for me and I will learn a lot, but also have lots of eggs and great chickens!!!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Enjoy your new babies and welcome to our flock!

I got them chick starter already so I am good there. The people at the place I got them at were very helpful. Gave me a great starter kit.

Good luck with your poultry raising adventures, and I hope you find everything you need to know. Don't forget to take a look at BYC's very useful learning center (If you haven't already)! The learning center as well as the forum should answer your questions! Glad to have you here! See you around with the flock.
