Just starting- setting up incubator, finishing coop.

Hi,

We are a homeschool family with 4 excited young chicken raisers. Setting up our Little giant incubator and finishing our coop.

We are looking for egg turner cups and I'm finding it's really hard to find them.

We saw a lynx jump out of our backyard tree last week so are now thinking we need to add a chicken wire roof to our converted dog pen where we plan to house chickens.

Any advise is greatly appreciated, looking fwd to browsing the forum and gleaning from your experience!

What does it mean to batten down my chicken hatches? I have lots to learn

We were thinking about putting chicken wire over the top of the yard, thou this may be pricey as our converted dog pen is about 30 X 15'. The fence does go 6" under ground thou and then turns inward 4".

The pen is behind our shop which backs to the woods where we saw the Lynx. hmmm
