I second that!! I've got over 20 little virus carrying, pestulence spreading, sneezing, coughing, hacking, snorting, drooling, piddling, disease carrying, lovable little 6th graders.
They happily gave me my ear, throat, and sinus infections, cost me 2 days off, getting behind in my tests for end of the year, and forced me to sit at home on my computer reading forums for several hours.

Bummer!

mom'sfolly :

Doing that now. My evil 7-year-old pestiferous child brought home a cold to share with the family. I tell the kids to share, but I didn't mean everything. The cold is making me feel thick-headed and stupid, hence the drooling at the screen.

I'll see your cold and raise you a bronchitis. I have my affectionate students and my own children to thank for this little beauty. It started out as a cold, which lasted for 3 weeks and on its way out invited a bacterial infection to play in my bronchials. As the doctor said "well, the good news is, it's not pneumonia". Children are cute little cootie carrying pest monsters. Bleh.

Debi, maybe you shouldn't have a photo of a box of chocolates as your desktop photo...

I'm alone most of the time, I get really tired in the afternoon and will go back to the director's office and laydown on his couch and have been woke up by the telephone.

I told my boss he needed some pillows in his office

There is no place for us to lay down here, which would be wonderful since I am constantly nauseous.... No one will be here this afternoon so I can close my door and rest my head.....

Can anyone say LYSOL... if you think they can touch it spray it.

When my kiddos get sick that is the third thing I do, first is run a nice warm bath with my good smelling eucalyptus bath stuff and make them get in, second is put a couple of bath towels in the dryer to warm them up for the sick kids. next is strip the beds and give them crisp fresh sheets to lie down on(spray the bed with lysol BEFORE putting the sheets on, then after. Also, spray the pillows everyone drools

. Nothing better than a crisp made bed to lay down in snuggled in a warm bath towel, after a warm bath when you feel like crud.
After you get them situated, spray the whole house with Lysol. Spray the door handles, the light switches, the walls, the refrigerator door, the phone, the keyboard, the keys to the car, the remote to the tv, don't use the fruity scents either use the regular old yellow can of lysol.

I also do this at work after everyone has left, spray down everything!
