Just want to say hello

Hi everyone. I'm new to BYC and to chickens entirely! This looks like such a great place to get good information from what seems like a lot of nice folks. We have 7 chicks we bought as straight run. They are 5 weeks old right now. Maybe later I cold get some opinions if boy or girl. Does anyone know how old they need to be in order to tell?
