i have 1 dozen jumbo coturnix eggs(laid by my own flock) and will go into lockdown this eve. did 4 of 5 my last batch(it was my first). this time didnt hardly even touch the bator between water fillings. last night i saw a couple of them wiggle(its weird staring at them because you think they moved but didnt, but move when u turn away) so theres life for sure. got another batch of two dozen waiting to go in after woohoo! using hova bator 1602n with auto turner/fan kit/hygrometer. when you fiddle with it less after your first hatch, its more stable this time, getting 99.7-100.3 most of time with no sudden drops/rises. later will look to hatch tragopan or lady amherst pheasant
