Just when I thought I knew what breed they were, they changed again!!!

I was told by the guy I bought them from that they were Rhode Island Reds but he didn't know for sure and they originally didn't look like Rhode Island Reds...they looked just like Golden Comets until recently and now they are looking like Rhode Island Reds looking more red...HELP!!!

Are they still Red Golden Comets?

They look like my RIR.. someone said that mine were production RIR's?

My vote is for RIR..."Red" Golden comets are more splashy-looking with a bit of white thru them.

To me they look a little lighter than my RIRs.

But they are pretty.

They look dark reddish and then they look a little brown...I'll take better pictures tomorrow. I took those just one day before but I'll get better ones...

I have Golden Comets, and I think they are RIR.

They are probably production reds so they won't be as dark as an RIR.

Yeah, they are probably production reds. True show like rir's are dark dark.

I looked up production reds and they seem to still be redder than the one picture I found of Production Reds...I don't know...
