My Chicken is very active, eating and drinking very well but has been a little raspy sounding and snotty at night. She has no strange smell or any thing coming from her eyes. Her doo-doo is normal as well. Any ideas?

Hopefully somone else will know more Im a newb but I know My allergies act up more at night and early in the morning , is it possible that she does it at night cuase she is cooped up in her pen and she is allergic to something in there? What kind of bedding do you use?

I use pine shavings. During the day she is never snotty. Maybe I should change bedding...what should i use?

Pine shaveings are good but if she is haveing problems you could try news paper for a few days just to see if it is the shaveings , or you could try paper pellets like good mews Im sure someone else will know more. I use pine shaveings or newspaper or wood pellets that people use for like horse stalls .
