Anyone have/use a "just5" cell phone?
Looking for a new phone for my father.
This appears to be a no-frill cell phone with large (dime-size)
buttons and claims the largest volume on the market for the
hearing impaired.
It's only purpose is to make/receive calls. No pictures, no text
just a simple phone. No flip, no slide...a flat faced phone. 2G
At two inches wide, four inches long this thing is big by modern
standards. Claims to be ATT ready.
Anyone use one? I would like a little imput before I order him one.
....
Bought Dad a new ATT phone last week, he can't use it. Buttons too
small for his hands/vision. Plus to many things on it for him to
understand. (flip phone)
Mrs. Spook bought me a new phone today, newer version of the one
I already have. So I loaned it to Dad to "try" but I know he won't like
it either.
His old phone is one of the first cell phones ever...must be 15 years
old. He has a whole box of them collected up.
Why change?
Dad is 77 years old and still driving a truck. Not as much as he would
like to, but as much as he can. Health issues have about him. But a
new law prohibits CDL drivers from using a cell phone unless also using
a hands-free device such as blue-tooth. His old phone, the whole box of
them, are too old for bluetooth.
Spook...with a very old parents.
