Juvie Silkie can't stand, please help! She passed away

So sorry about your little chickens I know you have done everything you could. It hurts when we lose them, but we have to keep on going and do the best we can for the ones we have left. Will be thinking about you.

Actually, after my dog killed 10 of them weeks ago, it's more of a frustrating thing than sad. I do miss them, and these that weren't killed, I'm sad and worry in a different way. How could I of helped better, what went wrong, medical worries.
Chicken heaven is where they are now, so that's good. ^.^

I don't remember you saying your dog killed 10 of your chickens, I bet that was hard to deal with. We all go through the questions that your dealing with now, One of my little hens was going through a bad molt and I could tell she wasn't feeling good, I brought her in and babied her for 3 days. She seemed to be better running around with the flock and eating, Then all of a sudden one day she was gone, I thought maybe a hawk got her, but you know I really don't know and I ask my self these same questions. The rest of my flock looks good so what ever happened it was only her either sick or taken by a predator, I miss her. I hope a the rest of your flock is well and safe.

Yea, it made me less attached and more willing to let them free range and just be chickens.
It must be a better life, short but with a lot of good foraging, room to fly and have fun. Better than a longer life with limited space, less things to keep them busy.
I let them out when I can watch over them. Come spring, when it's nicer and I can let them out far longer, that will be something! 30, hopefully 40+ chickens all pecking around having a ball on 2acres. Me watching and just hoping they don't want to cross the road, lol.
