I currently have 6 kahkis currently and next year I'm going to pick up six more flying mallards. I was wondering if there is any possibility they would cross bread? another question is I have 2 male kahkis and 4 females, is that a good male to female ratio or should i separate one of the males from the gals this fall. FINAL QUESTION XD, will khakis raise young? i know they were bread to lay a egg and get on with life but is there a chance the will become broody? thanks - alec

1). Yes they can cross breed, Any of the mallard derived breeds are able to produce fertile offspring.
2) If the hens aren't being over bred and your drakes are getting along then it's fine. Should anything change you should be fine with one drake for that many hens.
