Kankakee swap

Anyone going to the Kankaee bird swap next sunday. I am going to look for some new pheasant breeds and maybe a peafowl or two. Just checking if anyone else is going to buy or sell.

I thought their first swap was in May? It's next Sunday? It's only 35 miles away from me,,be crazy not to go,,

I was told it is next Sunday. I will be making the drive to look for pheasant and peafowl.

In my past 3 visits there,,I didn't see any french Marans or their eggs for sale to anyone,,wonder if there would be any interst in them? I'm getting over 2 dozen a day now,and color is excellent. It would be very easy to make a long pen and bring up a trio each of my fbc,wheaton,cuckoo,,blues,,blacks,ect!! I know many people from chicago come there specifically looking for super dark eggs,many buy for ethinic chinese restaurants. Wonder what the odds are of getting better than $2 a dozen are?? Lol

Yea you would probably be able to find a buyer of them easy. Marans are really popular nowadays.

I want to go, I just havent been able to get a road trip buddy together. (1 1/2 hours away ugh!)
