My husband and I are retired and jumping into the world of chickens here in SE Alaska! We've got our garden going to supplement the expensive, not so fresh food from the grocery store. Now we are looking forward to having good chicken manure to go with our compost pile & seaweed for the garden and eating some fresh chicken too! My husband's a hunter so killing them won't be a problem! I'm looking forward to getting advice from those who've figured it all out!
