Whoever said that SP is probably like the irritating neighbor, I agree with you.

She's no great shakes as a parent either. Willow Palin and a bunch of her friends trashed a home while the owners were away. Estimates of the damage were around $30,000. SP got Willow off completely. Not even charged.

I simply save myself the headache, I don't watch their shows at all... I don't even want to glance at it. I'm afraid they will think its a rating boost and I'll get stuck watching more of the commercials, which are bad enough!

Ugh, please, the only camping those two did was the 20 minutes in front of the cameras, before they went back to their trailers and had their makeup brushed up! It's sick that SP probably gets a hefty chunk of money/episode, and god knows what Kate gets to parade her kids around. What is it about Americans that make them want to watch these things on a normal basis? I mean, I have to admit, I AM a fan of Jersey Shore which is an anomaly in itself, but at least those people are only ruining themselves... not their poor kids.

I don't care about ratings & I don't watch commercials. I have a DVR. I time-shift everything.

I don't consider it a headache at all to watch a show I enjoy. As I said in the post you quoted, I have my own list of shows I enjoy...for whatever reasons. Some are educational and some are just fun.

I no longer watch the Kate show. I found it too hard to watch the stressed out kids, that were caught in the middle of their parents battles.

On the SP show I refuse to watch it. I was turned off of Palin after the interview with Katie Couric. SP came across as just plain stupid. Maybe she was just very unprepared for the interview, but I know as just a simple housewife with nothing more than a high school diploma, that I could have answered almost any of the questions that were asked that night.

I think that she is an attractive woman that is very good at self promotion, and is great at making sound bites that will make you you think that she is talking about the issues. I just don't think that she really understands political life outside of Alaska. I can say that she would be entertaining to watch for 4 years as a President, but I know that I got tired of being embarrassed by a President that never came across as very smart. I will say that I did know that the VP was very smart and very much in charge.

I guess that I am more attracted to intelligent deep thinking people. I can respect people that are smarter than I am. But makes me crazy when I see poorly educated people in positions of power.

I somehow don't think the strong personality is what people can't stand about Sarah Palin. It's that she's an idiot. I would bet the farm that if she was given an IQ test she would score below 100. I can't stand stupid people, and worse, those that are ignorant and cocky about it. There's no excuse for an American to not be able to find Iraq on a map or know that Africa is a continent, not a country. She is an abomination.

Good news folks. This is it for the show. Viewers figured out that she didn't know anything about Alaska after all. So they canceled the show. Next show is going to be "Michelle Obamas garden". They are also thinking about "Tom Delay wears orange". It will be a prison reality show where Tom gives bribes instead of receiving them. Should be entertaining.

Gotta love those reality shows.
