I wouldn't worry about it, esp since you got a membership, they used to give me so much grief on here and Im pretty sure its because I dont pay to join...Oh well, Im not on here much any more for that reason

OK now I`m very confused, you can`t ask a question on someones elses thread and if you do its called hijacking? To many rules for me ,I think when my membership runs out I will just be an onlooker

Some folks mind and some folks don't- when their thread gets high jacked

It happens ALL the time I do it and it's been done to me. It's when the thread gets highjacked and moved into a totally different direction ( away from original post) that people get upset as the real question gets forgotten about...It all depends on who you do it to...go ahead and highjack my thread I dare you

I think maybe she was just letting you know....not fussing! We all do it without really meaning to...one thing leads to another and another... like a real conversation. But, and I think this was the intention..not a hand slap...that your message can get left unanswered.
Welcome to BYC...it's a wonderful place to find and share info.

I didn't know we weren't allowed to ask questions on other threads. I have done that several times at least and I know a couple of mine have gone on different routes. I think its interesting and gives the group some dynamics.

Keep posting and asking questions. Unless a "Moderator/Admin" notify you there is a problem, you have nothing to worry about.
How else is this supposed to work? It would be a great forum if we all just replied to a post with, "great post, thanks". not!
