Oooohhhhh, another beauty you have stitched! Don't ya just love those jewel tone colors? How do you get so much done? I still don't have my braid quilt finished! I am gonna have to stop hatching for awhile just so I can quilt!

Lovely quilts....love both border piecings.....so much more interesting than simple strip borders.

I never do pieced borders, but I'm going to start now, since I like the way this one turned out, as well as the one Kathy did on the purple and gold one. I love making it up as I go along when quilting. Never know ahead of time what the end result will be. At first, I wasn't going to do the red strips between the three-square sections, but came up with that idea and it made it pop.
