That is Babby (lovely name, I know ) he is a blue silkie/partridge cochin cross.

No, @Brahma Chicken5000 will have to explain why because I forget every time. All silkie crosses will result in regularly feathered offspring. Babby, if crossed with a silkie will have 50% silkie feathered offspring.

I'd guess it's a recessive genetic trait.
So I wounder if Babby's offspring could make a silky feathered Cochin looking cross... That could be neat.
