It's not supposed to still be icy. Hiding it under a fine layer of white stuff just makes it extra slippery! ruined my new jammie pants too.

I’m really worried about Fran. Fabio (I’m assuming he did it) has ripped off feathers around her crest It isn’t bleeding, but I can see skin. I put anti-biotics on it. I was going to separate her, but they go absolutely crazy without each other. MAYBE. JUST MAYBE I’ll find some more duck hens soon. Pray for Fran. She seems happy, and I don’t even know 100% that Fabio did it. I haven’t even seen him attempt to mate with her, idk.

Make an area that Fran can access but Fabio can’t. If she is smaller than him make the entrance just big enough for her to go through.

He’s smaller than her by a bit. Fran is a big duck. I’ll try to do something tomorrow that works. I hope for the time being she’ll be okay.
