I understand what you mean about that too. I was actually pretty surprised how expensive some of the Muscovy eggs go for on there. That being said I was also pretty surprised to find out how many different colorations are available in Muscovy ducks. I still think you're chocolate is one of the more pretty ones I've seen.

I would like to add some new colors of Muscovies to my paddle (group of ducks, same thing as a flock of chickens), next year. Perhaps some barreds, looneys, ripples, lavenders, and whatever other colors I can get my hands on! Beautiful birds are just soooo irresistible!!!
 
This ad is actually for a live bird, not eggs (tisk tisk), but it's a decent example of what the Shamo (similar to Asil) go for. It's 8 months old and won't be considered full grown till about 2 years of age.
