Oh my wife and I are two different breeds. Her idea of camping includes a lodge with air conditioning and running water. Mine includes 2 big Sticks, a tarp and a big knife.

I'm going to use them as egg layers, but the extra males we will harvest for meat.

Ironically if you Google water bug, thte oriental cockroach comes up. I'm pretty sure I've said this in the past, but I tend to like the strange stuff in life. Though the oriental cockroach is unique in my opinion, my favorite is the Madagascar hissing cockroach. Besides being extremely different from the German cockroach most people are familiar with, they make great pets, and are typically used in filming movies because of their ability to be handled and they're a bit freaky looking. They are also grat for feeding snakes and arachnids. Oh, and they hiss!
