Hehe, love you Kate! 🤣

How are your barred rocks doing?
Awww! Love you sweet heart. ^u^

Pretty good. I have gotten rid of a bunch of them. Mostly for having traits i didnt want, but also the person i traded chicks for ducks realized she had too many generations going on and not enough housing so she gave me back the bantams and i gave her older birds.

I bathed my roo today. He was such a good boy considering i barely handle him. He had some poo sticking to his back end and might have a leg mite problem that im treating just incase. I cant tell yet if that's what it is. But better treat it and there not be anything than leave it and have it get out of control. :/ we'll see if what i've done is enough.

For scaley leg mites just mix Vaseline and any parasite powder together and apply to the legs. It works fast.

ye, I don't have parasite powder. I did put vaseline on him after his bath though. And DE on the floor of the coop. There really isn't too much I can do to clean the coop unfortunately. Do you have a particular powder you'd recommend? That I could theoretically get off Amazon, cause we just did our feed store/grocery run today and wont be back in town for a while.

I use Viper Dust (it’s not as harsh as it sounds I promise), if that’s available in Canada, I’d recommend.
