I'm trying to crop feed little mama I'm using the Kaytee exact hand feeding formula. Does anybody have an idea of what the formula to water ratio would be? She lost a lot of her body weight She only weighs a little over a pound. She is making progress but this will make it a lot easier to get food in her.

@Eggcessive @Wyorp Rock @U_Stormcrow (storm because your good at this food/nutrient percentage stuff)

I usually just eyeball it, but there are measurements on the container you can use. I like mine to be as thick as it can be and still go through the tube. That way they're getting as much nutrition as possible. If she's very dehydrated though you could do it thinner. I also will mix in some poultry cell or Nutridrench to the formula if the bird is especially weak.

I plead ignorance! On this forum I will always defer to Eggcessive and Wyorp Rock. That's not a product I'm familiar with.
