Kaytee grit

Well I think yours many not have, but the stuff I buy sure does. At first I thought I got a faulty batch as mixed in amongst the pellets were small bits of rocks. I know they are oyster shell and grit also. I have bought several brands from several stores and they are all similar.

Guess it depends on where you are and what brand you buy.
What would be the point in having grit in a pelleted feed?
Pelleted and crumple type feed breaks down so easily there is no need for grit. Are you positive it is grit and not another ingredient? What feed are you feed?

I guess the grit and oyster shell mixed in the food is for extra calcium and also so you don't need to buy any extra grit. Also the pellets are only part of the birds diet, as they free range and have vegetables.

I am not the manufacturer of this food. There are no list of ingredients on the bag. In this country the shop will buy a huge sack of the stuff and then sell it by the litre or bagged up into clear plastic bags by the kg.

I don't what country you live in but there is no way I would buy any mixes feed that didn't have a tag on it stating what was in it.
