Your salt test looks good. I write the number that it reads on the unit so i know how much to add or subtract when i read it. I have had hygrometers as far off as 15 points. The other cap has to much water.

Look at the Govee reading on your phone and see how much it leveled off.Redid the salt test with a glass pyrex dish w/ rubber lid, table salt in an actual bottle cap. Put both the Govee and the Inkbird in the same container. Started at around 10pm last night; checked it at 10am this morning.
Govee: 72.5%
Inkbird: 74%, I checked it again just now (I have to open the container to read it unfortunately) and now it says 76%??
I’m going to be picking up our eggs this afternoon, and I’m going to go put the Govee and Inkbird back in the incubator in the meantime.
Should I rest these eggs 12 hours or 24? They’re local so they shouldn’t be jostled around too much. The person I’m getting them from says they collected them over the last 3 days. It’s been 70-75 outside lately so I’m also worried that it’s been warm enough some of them might have already started cooking.![]()

Hey, did you use the Kebonnixs for quail? How’d you deal with the lack of rails for them?I actually just used a Kebonnixs with a Govee. The Govee read around 3 degrees cooler than the bator and the humidity was lower as well. I calibrated the hygrometer using the salt method. The temp on the incubator was the one I went off of. I checked it and it matched my other thermometers.
