Ok, this chicken is about 11 wks old now---i got it as a little baby chick from 1ChickMagnet. It is a cross between a silkie roo and a standard hen, probably a NH Red (she thinks). For a while, we thought it might be a hen judging by the face, until it grew out greenish tail feathers this past week! Now i am thinking it's got to be a rooster!
What do y'all think?

Any guesses on what this silkie might be, boy or girl? It's also 11 weeks old. My hubby says he thinks it's a roo, but...

How is it with others, does huddle under others or stay above, Can you get a closer pi of the crown?

The two grew up together. The red one is much bigger, and protects the black silkie. I can provide a close-up of the red one's face, but it's nearly impossible to get good pics of the silkie which always runs and hides, usually behind the red one. LOL
 
i think red is a roo and silkie, without close pic of comb i would guess by action is a hen?
