Abby,
I'll take those 2 Dominques! That's a breed I don't have:weee

Thanks for saving me that choc. mint, I've got plans for that...and a couple as gifts;)

Do you need cockerels to go with those pullets? I will be bringing some Bantam Dominique cockerels of various ages... all fully feathered out. I breed to standard for show and for temperament. All my Dom boys are sweet and take good care of their hens.

My Dom chicks are standard size, hens mature weight will be about 5 pounds. Just wanted that to be clear, as i forgot to put that they are standard in my original posting.
I was in a hurry to get to bed last night---been having some too short nights thanks to my 10 mo old daughter! Hey, where is the "yawn" smilie? hmmm, it must be in my email program.

Ok, need help from the experts! LOL

I have three breeds of chicks that are black and white---i wasn't thinking about that when i ordered, i was focusing more on temperaments and what kind of eggs they lay! LOL

I can tell which two are the Dominiques based on their rose combs. But the Cuckoo Marans and Plymouth Barred Rocks look awfully much alike---both have single combs for one thing. Now what other pointers might help me tell them apart? They are all about 4 weeks old.

I have some older Plymouth Barred Rocks, and i have pics of them at 4 wks, but not the greatest pics. So not helping much.
I also tried calling the hatchery, but the rep really wasn't much help at all. ugh.

Can any of you help me? I'd appreciate it so much! TIA

I bet they're cute! But I don't need anymore roos, bantam or std. right now~I already have a Silver Sebright roo, a Brahma banty roo & a Mottled Cochin banty roo...right now the last 2 are just babies, but we know how fast they grow, they'll be crowing by the end of the summer, or sooner!!
But...what else are you bringing?

Anyone have hatching eggs???

Ok, I am having a brain cramp... I promised a couple of people at the Merrimack Swap that I would email them instructions for natural home made insecticides. I haven't forgotten that I promised..... just who I promised
