Sorry if this is the wrong sub-forum LOL.
Ok my chickens are normally in their run unless someone is with them. I can see the Strawberry bed from the house as well. I was wondering if there is a (cheap) way to keep them out of the strawberries without having ugly chicken wire around them. I was thinking about:
a - bird netting over the top - but is that enough or can they peck through it
b - would a short fence keep them out - the flyers wings are clipped
Any ideas? It is a 3-tiered bed, the bottom tier is 6 ft square. There is a good fence on one side, the other 3 sides are open.
