Had to put one of our cats to sleep last night due to a urinary blockage issue. It was bad. His organs were basically failing.
My dad and I got to say goodbye as they put him down.

Putting down a beloved pet is always heartbreaking. I think that being with them at the end helps them to feel loved until their very last breath.

So sorry for your loss. Your boy was beautiful.

Thank you everyone.
I think it was very hard for my dad because he didn't really want to bring Lotus in to the vet at first because he had a feeling that they'd have to put him down but I convinced him saying that letting him suffer at home was much worse than seeing the vet and finding out what was wrong with him.
I do feel bad that my brothers didn't get to say goodbye to him.

I'm just glad that he's no longer suffering or in pain
