Keep the extra cockerel?

I get it. I have decided that I am going to do it myself instead of asking my husband!
So I'm lucky that my husband is handy and loves the chickens. Honestly, their more his chickens than mine. However sometimes he can really procrastinate. So to help motivate him, I will start setting up saw horses on the patio and dragging tools out from the garage. Instead of walking around the house from the garage to the patio, I walk threw it. Right past him in the living room with him lounging in his recliner. Start with the bucket of screws, then the battery drills and bits, then saws. If that doesn't get his attention, I will do a few revs of the saw, come back inside with the saw and say "I think the blade is bent. How do I change it."

Works everytime.

All I have to do is go into my hubby's workshop out back and start rummaging through some tools, make a bunch of noise. He comes out instantly, and works on what ever I need.

I like to set things up to make it harder to back out. I mean, everything is there, the only thing needed was him. That way he can't complain about how long it would take to find everything because I already did it for him.

Oh absolutely, getting them started is 90% of the battle, you can't give them any time to think! Just lay out all the tools needed and they have no time to procrastinate, tools are too enticing for a man! :gig

Right?! I like how you think :) It doesn't have to be craftsman quality as long as it's functional! Who knows, after a while of doing something, anyone can become skilled at it! Common sense, planning and YouTube ideas, along with the right tools, and you're golden!

You know what would make it so easy? If the hardware store sold hardware cloth wood panels.
