My chicks are coming in a couple weeks, I got 5 and my neighbor got 5. The neighbor will be on vacation for the first 2.5 weeks of the chicks' lives so they will be staying with me until they return. Should I keep all 10 chicks together in the brooder then separate them when they get home from vaca or should I separate them when I get them? They are all coming from the same place, each of us got 3 EE's, 1 Colombian wyandotte, and 1 buff orph- not that it matters but I'm SLIGHTLY excited, this is my first batch of babies :)

I would keep them all together. They will be fine when separated in a couple of weeks.
