Keeping 2 Roos together?

Currently I have four roosters and thirty-seven hens including pullets. they have space and get along fine. When I want to save eggs for hatching, I separate breeding groups for three weeks before saving any eggs. That will be enough time for the hens to only produce chicks from the rooster they are living with. Two weeks isn't long enough .:old

Oh I could definitely do that! I currently have 12 hens that consist of a buff orpington, black australorps, and some mixed breed hens. I was going to get 3 more buff hens and 3 silver laced wynadottes so I'd have a total of 18 hens. Is that too few for two roosters?

If I kept them all together then separated my buffs and SLW hens for 3 weeks, then put each rooster in with 3 hens of the same breed would it lead to overbreeding of those hens? Will I need more hens? How long would they have to be with the rooster to get good fertilized eggs? Sorry for all the questions!

I have a large grain bin that we are converting to a chicken coop and I have another coop that we currently house our 12 birds in with an outdoor run. We let our girls free range whenever they like and coop them up at night. I am in Nebraska :)
