We have bad weather coming in and out power is prone to going out. Now I do have batteries for my incubators to hook up to, but the brooder I'd just a tote with a heat lamp. What are some way to keep my little fluff nuggets warm if the power goes out (they're snowflake bobwhite Quail)? They're about four, five days old and we don't have a generator.

The blanket is a good idea.

Get some handwarmers.

Can you get warm water? Use a hot water bottle or fill a zip-loc with warm water.

Can you warm a brick and wrap it in a towel?

Hand warmers and a blanket will be my best bet since I'd have to kick it caveman style and try to build a fire when everything is wet in order to heat some water or a brick (we don't have a grill).
