keeping a chicken record?

im getting 7 chickens and read thats its good to keep a record of medications you ive them a the hatch date. what else should i put on the flock history record? Do people really only keep a record if they have 100 birds?

i am in 4h and i always keep a chicken record. I had 14 chickens, but I just got a bunch of bantie chicks last month. i take pictures of them all at different ages and write down certain characteristics and medications and hatch dates. also , if you use leg bands on your birds, you may want to write the numbers down for each bird.

There are a couple programs made specifically for chickens.

One is TM Chickens, which will be free once it is done. I don't know when that will be, but the tentative release date (May 1st, I think?) is different because of some technical problems.
